A Saskatoon Picnic...

When this gorgeous mom booked her Saskatoon photography session with us, she suggested we do a picnic!  Of course I was on board!!! It was so hard to narrow down this session, hence a huge blog post! 

Photography mentorship program - our model family

This adorable family came out to model for us for our mentorship class, where we taught, how to look for light outdoors and we touched on posing a bit again as well.  They did a fantastic job!  You can check out some behind the scenes from that class HERE. 

Saskatoon photography locations

We started off this adorable family session at the our Saskatoon photography studio and ended it on a different day at one of my favorite Saskatoon parks, in our old neighborhood!  It was a gorgeous spring day and I love that the pond still had ice on it.  The ducks were out, the baby was happy and it ended up being the perfect mix of images for them to choose from.  Here are just a few fav's from our session!  

Saskatoon photography classes

A few months ago during our mentorship class we had these two families come to our Saskatoon photography studio to model for us, so we could show our students how we pose families with toddles and families with older children.  The younger children were BUSY, which made it for a fantastic learning opportunity for our students!  Needless to say, both families did a wonderful job!   The kids were adorable! 

Blue eyed beauty - Saskatoon photography studio

I had this adorable little girl in our Saskatoon Studio a little while back.  I photographed her in her mom's belly. She was the first ever session I did in this studio.  Time flies when you're raising a toddler!!!

Maui session - Saskatoon Photographers

I had the most incredible time shooting on the beaches of Maui last February!  Our wonderful clients and friends happened to be in Maui as the same time as us, so we did their family photos this year in the tropics!  I'm so in love with everything about this session!  I wish I could shoot here half the year (I think you know what half I'm talking about, haha).     

Familiar faces - Saskatoon family photographers

It's always a pleasure to see some familiar faces.  I photographed their wedding and they since welcomed this little beauty!  She is just as sweet as her parents.

This session was full of energy and full of fun!  It's always a good time when this crew comes to see us for their family portraits.  They needed some updated images of their littlest girl to add to their canvas wall collage at grandmas house, so I was thrilled to see them at our Saskatoon photography studio.  It's so hard to pick just a few from their session:).

I am so in love with the new wall at our Saskatoon photography studio!!!  It's the perfect addition to our space! 

With spring right around the corner comes fresh new ideas and exciting things in the works!  In the meantime, I hope to blog a bit more and post some adorable images of some adorable children.
